Day 23 Sea Day Naples to Crete
Paul gets to sleep in. I went to the gym and rode 13 miles in an hour then walked for an hour. We breakfasted and then began to explore our bill. It sure looked like tricky accounting, but apparently when you sign up for shore excursions they use your onboard credit first and you pay the remainder. The first clerk to explain it did not do a clear job, because we were sure we paid in full before we came. Second time at the Shore Excursion desk we talked to a different clerk, and she did a much better job of explaining things. Turns out we HAD paid for our shore excursions in full before we came aboard. The amount that currently owe is due to purchases we had made once we were here aboard ship, like our laundry tokens, a few drinks that we purchased, etc. Once she explained it properly, it made better sense. Then we went to the picture place and deleted all but 10 because that is what our package covers. If we keep up on that, it will make less work at the end of the trip. Then we went to the international cafe for lunch. I had a lentil pie and Paul had a cheeseburger pie. A mellow relaxing day. We played some trivia games but did not excel at anything
