Day 12 Travel to Barcelona by train

We got up before our alarm clock and Paul got a shower and we packed up. Checked out at hotel and headed to the train station. 20 minutes before our train they, let us go through security, which was an easy process, and then we had to find our train car and seats, which we got wrong the first time. Paul hoisted our stuff overhead and we settled in.

No one ever came to check tickets.

We played games and listen to the radio. I think at one point, we had 7 games of Words with Friends going at once. There's about a half hour left of our ride and it is intermittently raining, but the weather app doesn't show it raining in Barcelona. So we'll see.

It was quite a long taxi ride to get to the hotel Suizo. And it is raining. We got checked into our efficiency tiny little hotel room.
Our view

We found a lovely little kebab shop and had a wonderful dinner. Then we walked down to Las Ramblas and wandered around in the rain.

We saw a church, didn't see the name.
We looked it up on Google lens. It is the cathedral of Barcelona, which is different from La Segrada Familia, designed by Gaudi. Then we found a pastry shop.
