Day 10 to Granada
We awoke to 8° C and a wall of fog. I don't even want to know what 8° is in Fahrenheit.
We started riding in the rain at 11 degrees Celsius. Not fun. I don't do well when I get cold. I don't mind warm rain. I made it about 10 miles with numb fingers and toes and bailed. Not having fun. Paul, however, continued on. He is much tougher in cold than I am.
At the route change point, Paul joined me for hot chocolate, then he rode off, I was still cold and wet and didn't ride. Four of us rode in the van to the end. Studly Paul finished it all. I changed to dry clothes but still couldn't get warm. We had a nice lunch, got our stuff off the bikes and relinquished them. We take a bus to the hotel.
Got checked in and showered. Would love to find a laundromat and get everything cleaner than I could do in the sink. We did and got a partial dryer what's not dry is hanging up around the room.
